What happened this year
On May 12, 2026, ClimateGlobal took over UBC Robson Square for a full day of programming during Web Summit week — the room where global climate tech decision-makers went outside of the trade floor.
The 2026 edition was built around two directions: Canadian ventures going global, and international ventures landing in North America through Canada. It opened with a keynote and fireside chat with BC's Minister of Energy & Climate Solutions, ran two main-stage panels, three breakout tracks, and closed with a reverse-pitch block where investors and buyers said out loud what they were actually looking for.

In May 2026, 15,000 global tech leaders descended on Vancouver for Web Summit. ClimateGlobal is where global climate tech decision-makers go outside of the trade floor.
As global trade corridors realign and climate policy shifts toward pragmatic execution, Canada is emerging as a critical bridge, connecting climate ventures between Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America.
ClimateGlobal brings together the international operators, investors, and founders who are navigating this new landscape.

Parallel deep-dive sessions covering SR&ED strategy for climate ventures, structuring cross-border deals, Indigenous partnerships in practice, and capital stack engineering for international expansion. Led by practitioners, not presenters.
